Geography & Location
Sindhupalchowk is a district in the Bagmati Province of Nepal, located northeast of Kathmandu. It covers an area of 2,542 square kilometers and shares a border with Tibet (China) to the north.
The district is characterized by diverse topography, ranging from low river valleys at around 850 meters to high mountain peaks exceeding 7,000 meters. The Jugal Himal range forms part of the northern border, while the Sun Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers flow through the district.
